“ I first tried Addis when I worked downtown in 2011. I absolutely loved it then, but changed jobs and I hadn't had it again until tonight. I'm happy to say it's just as delicious as it was then, maybe even better. The restaurant itself is much improved, the prices have gone up (no surprise there), and the proprietors are as nice and friendly as can be. Can't wait to go back! ”

Our party of four ordered cocktails and beer along with chicken fajitas and steak kabobs. The owner was very friendly and engaging. We talked about the restaurant making a comeback after being destroyed in the riots a couple years ago. Centrally located in downtown, it is a must-visit, locally owned, authentic cuisine restaurant. The price to quantity ratio is great and the food is delicious, making it a great value, much better than any chain restaurants in the area. We are from out-of-town , but will definitely return on future visits to Louisville. The owner says they are very busy during weekday lunch. We didn't choose one, but it is worth noting that the have vegetarian options. ”

We came back the next night and were almost turned away because they ran out of food. Thank God they let us come in as the last cuatomers of the night... omg the food was DIVINE. First review using that description. The lamb was out of this world! The chicken masalla was godly. They Lao have a huuuge beer selection. The owner was also very attentive and made pleasant conversation. Will be back many times!! ”
